Robert C. “Bobby” Lingard Jr., a 47-year-old resident of Dawn, died at his residence on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial will be in the Hutchinson Cemetery at Chillicothe.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 o’clock tonight (Monday, Jan. 9, 2006) at the funeral home. Open visitation is now in progress at the funeral home.
Mr. Lingard was born on Nov. 29, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of Robert Cecil and Barbara Ann Howe Lingard Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the Livingston County area and had worked as a welder at Jim’s Welding. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing stock cars.
He was married on Aug. 8, 1981 to Vickie Lynn Baker, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Lingard of Chillicothe; one son, Jason Sackery and his wife, LaTasha, of Chillicothe; Two daughters, Tara Griffin and her husband, Bill, of Trenton and Misty Lingard of the home; one brother, Sandy Lingard of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters, Penny Wilson of Chillicothe, Bonnie Boley and her husband, Bill, of Chillicothe and Betty Hartman and her husband, Jeff, of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Hunter and Katie Sackery of Chilicothe; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Lingard Sr.
