Johnnie Charles Munn, a 60-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 10:16 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Johnnie Charles Munn, a 60-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 10:16 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Rev. Steve Bramblett will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 at the mortuary. Open visitation will begin at 9 a.m. that day.

Mr. Munn was born on May 13, 1945 at Spickard, the son of Phillip L. and Pauline Spears Munn. He attended Spickard and Trenton schools, graduating from Trenton in 1963. He lived all his life in the Spickard and Trenton areas. He worked as a crew leader for the Missouri Department of Transportation, where he was employed for 25 years before retiring on Dec. 31, 1999. He was married on July 4, 1997 at Trenton to Mary Lytle, who survives of the home. He enjoyed music and playing with his bands.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Johnnie Munn Jr. and his wife, Valarie, of Trenton; a daughter, Anita VonBurg and her husband, Scott, of Trenton; two sisters, Marcy Dillamon and her husband, Bill, of Liberty and Linda Cunniff and her companion, Paul Baskins, of Kansas City, KS: a step-son, Bruce Lytle and his wife, Christa, of Dixon, IL; three step-daughters, Deb Thorson and her husband, Randy, of Shabbona, IL, Terri Tiffany and her husband, Greg, of Perry, IA, and Lisa Johnson and her husband, Steve, of Shabbona; four grandchildren, Melinda and Cody Munn and Echo and Canyon VonBurg; and 11 step-grandchildren, Luke, Derick and Brooke Thorson, Bryce, Michael and Hannah Tiffany, Jake, McAley and Shannon Lytle and Morgan and Tate Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Garry Munn.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
