Students at Rissler Elementary School were honored for academic achievement, behavior and citizenship during an assembly held this morning, with the Artist of the Month also chosen.
In addition to receiving the ABC awards, one of those honored from each classroom was also selected to receive the Terrific Kid Award, sponsored by the Trenton Kiwanis Club and Hardee’s of Trenton. Makaila Capeder, a fourth grade student, was also honored as the Artist of the Month for her outstanding use of colors, line and patterns in mixed media.
