Frank James, a 43-year-old resident of Springfield, IL, died on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. He was a former resident of Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Hamilton.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o’clock tonight (Friday, Dec. 9, 2005) at the funeral home.
Mr. James was born on Nov. 10, 1962 at Chillicothe, the son of William Isaac and Lois Jane Coffman James. He had lived all his life in the Samsel and Chillicothe communities. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1981. He had been employed for five years at the Western Missouri Correctional Facility in Cameron. He was also an over-the-road truck driver. He had resided at Springfield, IL for the past two months.
He is survived by his companion, Nancy Glick of the home; his mother. Lois Coffman James, of the Samsel community; two daughters, Elizabeth Sue Dawkins of St. Elmo, IL, and Debra Dawkins of Excelsior Springs; two sisters, Janet Bethards of Chula, and Mary Ann Clevenger of Gallatin.
The family suggests memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses. These may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 813 Custer St., Trenton, MO 64683.
