Persons needing assistance in preparing family stories for the Grundy County History Book are invited to participate in a workshop, scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 8 on the first floor of the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library.

The History Book Committee of the Trenton Sesquicentennial Committee is offering the workshop, which will offer personal assistance in putting stories together for the book. Participants should bring with them all relevant information they have, including names and dates and photos, if possible. Committee members will answer questions and assist with writing. Completed stories may also be turned in at the workshop and a typing service may be arranged for those whose stores are submitted in handwritten form.

All present and former Grundy County residents are encouraged to submit their family stories for publication in the two-volume set of books, to be entitled “Grundy County and Its People.” There is no charge for stories within the 350-word limit.
