The Trenton Middle School PTO met Tuesday evening, continuing preparations for the Dec. 4 Holiday Homes Tour and agreeing to serve as the sponsor for a fund-raising activity.
PTO members signed up for times to serve as greeters for the Second Annual PTO Holiday Homes Tour, which is scheduled for 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. Stops on the tour include the homes of Marian Goodin, Mark and Kathleen Robinson, Gary and Donna Wilson, Tim and Jenny Demsich, as well as St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. Ticket prices and outlets were discussed and more information will be released at a later date.
The group agreed to serve as the sponsor for a fund-raiser for the TMS Cheerleaders, which will include the sale of hats and scarves at Friday night’s football game. All proceeds of the sale will go to the cheerleaders to help with expenses related to that program.
Members agreed to not hold meetings in December or January, with the next regular meeting scheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7.
