Patricia A. Gowan, a 64-year-old resident of the Lake of the Ozarks, died at 6:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, 2005 at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie, where she was admitted on Sept. 23, 2005.

Patricia A. Gowan, a 64-year-old resident of the Lake of the Ozarks, died at 6:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, 2005 at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie, where she was admitted on Sept. 23, 2005.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton. Open visitation is under way at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton.
Mrs. Gowan was born on Aug. 1, 1941 in Columbia, the daughter of L.C. “Clell” and Devona Ellis Carpenter. She lived in Trenton until her teen years, when she moved to Columbia. She lived the majority of her life there with her husband, Harry Gowan. She spent the last 10 years living at the Lake of the Ozarks.
She is survived by a son, Gene Gowan of the Lake of the Ozarks; a brother, Bill Carpenter and his wife, Ivanka, of Tyler, TX; and a uncle, Bob F. Ellis and his wife, Elouise, of Ft. Worth TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
