Cash E. Shultz, a 73-year-old resident of 1310 E. 8th St. in Trenton, died on Friday afternoon Oct. 28, 2005 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton. The Rev. Robert Burkeybile and Rev. Bill Stanturf will officiate. Burial will follow military graveside rites by the Joseph L. Norton VFW Post No. 919 of Trenton at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Shultz, was born on Jan. 14, 1932 in Milan, the son of Raymond and Eva Meeks Shultz. He attended Gose Grade School, north of Milan, and graduated from Milan High School in 1950.
He served in the Army and Army Air Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was retired as manager of operations from Grundy Electric Cooperative. He was also a member of Mercer Baptist Church in Mercer.
He was married on April 3, 1953 at Pollock to Lula Mae Brumbaugh, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by one daughter, Cheryl Dianne Shuler and her husband, Chris, of Trenton; one granddaughter, Eva Roxanne Shultz of Trenton; one great-granddaughter, Halley Alexis Shultz of Trenton; one sister Colleen Coin of Independence; and one brother, Bill Shultz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Weis Coin, who died in August 2005.
