Third District State Rep. Jim Whorton, D-Trenton, will host a public information meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the Grundy County Senior Center.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Whorton will discuss current issues before the Missouri General Assembly and speakers representing the Area Agency on Aging and the Silver-Haired Legislature will also share information related to senior citizen issues.
A light meal will be provided by Whorton and his wife, Bev, at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow. Area residents are encouraged to attend.
