Wynona “Noni” Campbell Haston, an 83-year-old resident of Independence, died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 at the Rosewood of the Groves.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005 at the D.W. Newcomer’s Sons, Flora Hills Chapel. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Haston was born on June 3, 1922 at Helena, MN, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harrie N. Campbell. She attended Trenton schools. She moved to Kansas City, where she married her first husband, H. Morton Brady, who died in 1978.
She is survived by one son, Mike Brady of Blue Springs; one daughter, Pat George of Independence; a step-son, Mark Haston; a step-daughter, Jane Norris; nine grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Campbell of Aurburn, WA; two sisters, Cynthis Flower of Richland, WA and Ruth Hook of Bethany; a sister-in-law, Ruth Campbell of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
