The city of Trenton will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2007 and ideas are being sought for a theme that would recognize this special event.

The Trenton Sesquicentennial Committee is asking for suggestions for a theme, which will be used during the celebration, which is planned for late June and early July of 2007. Events will be planned around the theme and the person submitting the winning theme will be recognized prior to and during the actual celebration.

Persons having a theme suggestion are asked to submit them to the committee no later than Tuesday, Sept. 6. They can be mailed to the committee at PO Box 313, Trenton, MO 64683 or persons can contact chairman Phil Schlarb or publicity co-chairman Diane Raynes.
