The Tri-County R-7 Board met Thursday evening, setting the tax rate levy, accepting a bid and approving resolutions.
According to Superintendent Mary Jo Kish, the board set the 2005-2006 levy at $4.0197 on the $100 assessed valuation. Last year’s levy was $4.30. Board members accepted a bread bid from Jamesport Grocery and passed the annual financial disclosure/conflict of interest resolution, as well as an IDEA compliance resolution. Also approved was the Annual Secretary of the Board Report. Following the meeting, the board held a picnic for faculty, staff and their families.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13.
