Marjorie Ruth Fagan, a 41-year-old resident of Mercer, died at her home on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton. Rev. Ron Helton will officiate. Burial will be in the Early Cemetery, south of Mercer.
General visitation is under way at the funeral home. A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005 at the funeral home.
Ms. Fagan was born on Jan. 16, 1964 in Blytheville, AR, the daughter of Jackie Allen and Shirley Holmes Crigler Fagan. She graduated from Mercer High School in 1982. She was an employee of Osceola Foods, a division of Hormel Meats, in Osceola, IA, working in the hand packaging department. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and England during her childhood years while her father was in the military. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her companion, Jeff McDole, of the home at Mercer; her father and step-mother, Jackie and Marcia Fagan of Cameron; two daughters, Tisha Puckett and her husband, John, of Des Moines, IA, and Stevie Nordyke of Mercer; one son, Robert Stout and his fiancee, Danielle Wells, of Mercer; one grandson, Robert Jaxson Wells-Stout of Mercer; three sisters, Jean Ann Hirsh and her husband, Craig of St. Louis, Paula Fagan of Spickard and Ivy Fagan of Princeton; two aunts; 11 uncles; two nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
