The Trenton Street Department will be working on a portion of Grant Street beginning on Monday, which will result in the street being closed at various times while work is ongoing.
Street Supervisor Larry Griffin said work will be done on Grant Street between Seventh and Ninth streets and will include removal of asphalt in preparation for repaving of the road. Griffin said the area would be blocked off at various times and that motorists should find alternative routes. He also said the work could go into the week of July 25.
