As part of clean-up month activities in the community, the city of Trenton, Grundy County Commission and North Missouri Solid Waste Management District are sponsoring a large appliance recycling day this Saturday at the Rock Barn area.

As part of clean-up month activities in the community, the city of Trenton, Grundy County Commission and North Missouri Solid Waste Management District are sponsoring a large appliance recycling day this Saturday at the Rock Barn area.
Trenton and Grundy County residences can drop off large appliances such as washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dishwashers, cooking stoves and hot water heaters. The appliances will then be taken for recycling purposes. There will be a $5 per appliance charge for the items.
Items can be dropped off at the recycling site from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Scrap metal will also be collected during that time at no cost.
