Yuba Lenora Clodfelter, an 82-year-old resident of Kansas City, died on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her home. She was a native of Laredo and Trenton.

Yuba Lenora Clodfelter, an 82-year-old resident of Kansas City, died on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her home. She was a native of Laredo and Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel in Kansas City. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at the funeral chapel, where a VFW Auxiliary service will be held at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Clodfelter was born on May 17, 1923, the daughter of Bart and Otie Shaw. She was a graduate of Laredo High School. She was an active member of VFW Auxiliary No. 1829 for over 50 years and was a charter member of MOC Auxiliary No. 17 from 1961. She was the local president in both chapters and was local VFWA treasurer. She was also treasurer of MOCA for 20 years, retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Clodfelter is survived by a daughter, Connie, of Kansas City; a granddaughter, Janet Colin of the home; two great-grandchildren, Austin Lee Batts and Hailey Marie Colin; a sister, Ruby Marie Elliott of Laredo; a brother, Bart Edgar Shaw of Trenton; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donal Dick Clodfelter; her parents; a grandson, Christopher Scott Coats; and a sister, Pauline Allison.
