The Trenton R-9 Board of Education hired several individuals during a special meeting this morning.

Board Secretary Susan Leeper said the board approved the employment of Beverly Croy of Trenton as middle school special education teacher, Natalie Johnson of Trenton as special education secretary and Angela Gott of Galt as special education paraprofessional. Also hired were Jennifer Croy of Bethany for high school math, Shanin Parks of Princeton for middle school math and Brenda Thorne as half-time summer school teacher.

The board also accepted the resignation of Gail Young as speech teacher. Mrs. Leeper said there are three positions still to be filled for the 2005-2006 school year – high school business teacher, special education teacher and speech teacher.
