Donald M. Burt, a 71-year-old resident of Jacksonville, AR, died on Monday, May 16, 2005 at Jacksonville.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2005, at the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR, under the direction of the Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Mr. Burt was born on Nov. 15, 1933 in Spickard, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Burt. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and Ashland Chemicals. He lived in the Jacksonville area for 35 years and attended the Methodist church. He was a lifetime member of the Jacksonville VFW Post No. 4548.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rose Mary Gregory Burt; a daughter, Donna Majeske and her husband, Michael, of Jacksonville; one son, Charles Riggan and his wife, Brenda, of Ward; a sister, Frances DeForge of Nebraska; two brothers, Richard Burt of Nebraska and Charles Burt of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
