Tara Lynn Leeper, the three-year-old daughter of Jake and Stacy Leeper of the Mill Grove Community in Mercer County, died at 10:13 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton after an automobile accident on Route A.

Tara Lynn Leeper, the three-year-old daughter of Jake and Stacy Leeper of the Mill Grove Community in Mercer County, died at 10:13 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton after an automobile accident on Route A. Her father, Jake Leeper, also died from injuries in the accident.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Burial will be in the Martin Cemetery, located north of Trenton.
A scheduled family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the mortuary. The family will be staying at the Larry and Margaret Leeper residence at Mill Grove.
Tara Lynn was born on Oct. 11, 2001 at Trenton, the daughter of Jake and Stacy Hughs Leeper.
She is survived by her mother, Stacy Leeper of the home; a sister, Nesa Ann Leeper, also of the home; her grandparents, Larry and Margaret Leeper of Mill Grove and Marion and Lila Hughs of Brimson; great-grandparents, Johnnie B. and Phyllis Leeper of Trenton and Francis E. and Gladys Howe of Laredo; and her great-grandfather, Sam Stephens of Pueblo, CO.
She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, Dorothy Stephens and Samp and Lulu Hughs.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Nesa Ann Leeper Educational Fund. These may be left at or mailed to the Resthaven Mortuary at PO. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
