Tickets went on sale today for the April 15 appearance in Trenton of the Harlem All-Stars basketball team.
Sponsored by the North Central Missouri College Foundation, the Harlem All-Stars feature four members of the Harlem Globetrotters and other former collegiate and professional basketball players. They will be bringing their athletic talents, comedy and good sportsmanship to the Ketcham Community Center in a battle with area high school and NCMC coaches.
Tickets are now on sale at the Trenton Republican-Times, Hy-Vee, the KCC and KTTN radio, all in Trenton, and the Stacey Center in Princeton. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children, with tickets at the door costing $12 and $7 respectively. Foundation officials have announced there will be no reserved seats with the exception of the privately-owned balcony seats.
The names of the local team members, coached by NCMC President Dr. Neil Nuttall, will be announced later this week in addition to special entertainment. All proceeds from the event will go to the NCMC Foundation.
