Gerald Stottlemyre, a 95-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, where he had resided since July 29, 2004.

Gerald Stottlemyre, a 95-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, where he had resided since July 29, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A scheduled family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Stottlemyre was born on Oct. 4, 1909 at Spickard, the son of William and Lula Kincade Stottlemyre. He was married at Trenton on Sept. 20, 1934s to Mary Frances White, who survives of Trenton. He farmed most of his life in the Spickard area. He was a member and a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Trenton.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Stottlemyre is survived by one son, Jerry Stottlemyre and his wife, Virginia, of Spickard; three sisters, Cleta Moore of Moberly, Cecile Riski of Carrollton and Cora Grouse of Chillicothe; two granddaughters, Denise Saey and her husband, Tom, of Maryland Heights and Denette Krause and her husband, Gene, of Maryland Heights; six great-grandchildren, Eric and Kirsten Krause and Tommy, Nikki, Emily and Molly Saey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-mother, Margie; a step-brother, John Persell; and a nephew, Andy Moore.
