Mr. Sisler was born on April 13, 1929 in Saline County, KS, the son of B.E. and Ethel Locy Sisler. He was raised near Kipp, KS and attended and graduated from Kipp High School. Following graduation, he began employment at International Harvester in the parts department and later in sales for 20 years. He was married on Aug. 29, 1948 at the First Presbyterian Church in Salina, KS, to Lola Spellman, who survives of the home. The couple moved in 1968 to Concordia, KS, where he was the co-owner of the Cloud County Truck and Tractor, an IHC dealership. The couple moved in January 1973 to Trenton, where he owned and operated Trenton Truck and Tractor in addition to farming. He closed the dealership in 1983 and continued farming.

He was a member of the Hodge Presbyterian Church in Trenton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Steven Sisler of Queen Creek AZ, Gary Sisler of Eaton, CO and Bruce Sisler of Columbia; two daughters, Judy, now Mrs. Kevin Martin of Maryville and Jana Sisler of St. Louis; one brother, Jerry Sisler of Salina; one sister, Dorothy Parks of Camdenton; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harold, Gerald, John and Ralph Sisler; and two sisters, Peggy Sisler and Doris Ferrier.
