John Paul Jones, a 34-year-old resident of Brookfield, died at 11:50 p.m. on Friday, March 25 2005 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Trenton.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the funeral home. Open visitation is under way.
Mr. Jones was born on Sept. 30, 1970 in Iowa City, IA, the son of John William and Margo Ann Baker Jones. He was raised in Osceola, IA and Galt and lived a number of years in Trenton. He served in the Army National Guard for three years.
He is survived by his mother, Margo Jones of Brunswick; a companion, Carla Anderson of Brookfield; two sons, Comorgan Jones and Creed Jones, both of Trenton; a daughter, Chelsea Jones of Murry, IA; three brothers, Harold Jones of Lucas, IA, Albert Jones of Bosworth and Edward Jones of Osgood; two sisters, Gail Buchanan of Independence and Michele Oller of Branson; three step-daughters, Heather McPherson, Heidi Giles and Courtney Giles, and one step-son, Kyle Giles, all of Trenton; and three step-grandchildren, Mya Brandon, Chloe Huffstetter and Taytum McPherson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
