L. Marie Gregg, a 90-year-old resident of Carrollton, died on Thursday, March 25, 2005 at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton. She is the mother of Dorothy Allnutt of Trenton.

L. Marie Gregg, a 90-year-old resident of Carrollton, died on Thursday, March 25, 2005 at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton. She is the mother of Dorothy Allnutt of Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery at Bogard.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gregg was born on Jan. 18, 1915 in Carroll County, the daughter of William Ervin and Anna Labelle Stipes Marple. She was married on Dec. 12, 1931 to Floyd Lee Gregg, who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2005.

Mrs. Gregg was a member of the Mandeville United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading the Bible, playing pitch, working in her garden and spending time with her family.

She is survived by six sons, William Dee and his wife, Martha, of Carrollton, Wade and his wife, Janice of Barnard, KS, Arnold and his wife, Judy, of Bosworth, Bobby and his wife, Janie, of Bogard, Jackie and his wife, Gail, of Carrollton, and Russell and his wife, Dianne, of Oak Grove; five daughters, Anna Lee Bahr and her husband, Fred, of Carrollton, Shirley Edwards and her husband, Leonard, of McPherson, KS, Sally Hanavan and her husband, John, of New Castle, IN, Dorothy Allnutt and her husband, Randall, of Trenton, and Esther Gregg of the home in Carrollton; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; five sisters, Ollie Dodson, Mildred Dodson, Helen Tucker, Dorothy Jones and Frances Henry; and one brother, Bill Marple.
