Sheila J. Little, a 51-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton..
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2005 at the Coon Creek Union Baptist Church, west of Edinburg. Rev. Doug Crawford and Rev. Ron Ward officiated.
Christine Ward was the organist. Singers were Jenee Weaver and Virginia Groce, who sang “Beulah Land.” A taped selection of “One Day at a Time” was also played.
Pallbearers were Delbert Hutchinson, Virgil Berry, Jim Shaw, Lonnie Robinett, Lanny Pettegrew and Chris Brown.
Burial was in the Coon Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Little was born on Oct. 27, 1953 in Trenton, the daughter of Everett Marvin and Wanda Jewell Fitzpatrick Brown. She was a graduate of Trenton High School She worked for North Central Missouri College and enjoyed painting and crafts.
Mrs. Little is survived by her husband, Mike Little of Trenton; one son, Andrew Little of Cameron; one daughter, Shelly Reeve and her husband, Bradley, of Kearney; two brothers, Calvin Brown of Trenton and her twin, Leslie Brown of Trenton; three sisters, Jackie Stevenson of Trenton, Betty Berry of Spickard and Janice Gannon of Trenton; and two grandchildren, Lane and Jaylea Gaunt.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Brown; and one sister, Leah Brown.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Coon Creek Church building fund. They may be left at or mailed to the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home at 813 Custer St., Trenton, MO 64683.
