Deetta Tedlock, an 85-year-old resident of 202 W. 22nd St. in Trenton, died on Tuesday evening, Feb. 15, 2005 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Deetta Tedlock, an 85-year-old resident of 202 W. 22nd St. in Trenton, died on Tuesday evening, Feb. 15, 2005 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at the River of Life United Pentecostal Church in Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.

A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.

Mrs. Tedlock was born on June 17, 1919 in Brimson, the daughter of George Washington and Wilma Mae Embry Washburn. She lived in Trenton most of her life. She was a member of Trenton Rebekah Lodge No. 15 and the Joseph L. Norton VFW Post 919 Ladies Auxiliary of Trenton.

She was married on April 9, 1946 in Ottawa, KS to Worth “Buster” Tedlock, who died on June 14, 2000.

She is survived by four nephews, Orville Turley of Trenton, Lloyd Turley of Trenton, George Turley of Spickard and Worth Turley of Forsyth ; and two nieces, Betty Kincaid and Kathy Turley, both of Trenton.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Turley.
