Beulah Evelyn Johnson, a 91-year-old resident of St. Joseph, died on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005. She was a former Brimson resident.

The body was cremated under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. A private family graveside service is planned at a later date at the Christian Union Cemetery near Gilman City.
Mrs. Johnson was born on May 14, 1913, the daughter of Roy Long and Onia Mclay. She was married to Lawrence Johnson, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by five daughters, Ruby Newton and her husband, Clinton, of Trenton, Faye Meek of St. Joseph, Leona Hollocroft and her husband, Doug of Arkansas, Roseann Wooderson and her husband, Johnny of Warsaw, Bonnie Thomas and her husband, John of Modine; three sons, George Johnson and his wife, Lillie of Trenton, Charles Johnson and his wife, Janie of Harris and Lloyd Johnson and his wife, Josephine of Gilman City; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, James Johnson and Dean McClaflin; a sister, Edra Everlyn; a brother, Charles Long; two granddaughters; and two grandsons.
