Grant applications are available to groups, individuals, cities and counties interested in competing for solid waste program funds made possible through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the North Missouri Solid Waste Management District.
The district will competitively rate and score projects whose purpose is to further the Region B solid waste implementation plan. Past projects have included funding a community recycling project, the purchase of recycling equipment and educational programs, to name a few.

Applications must be returned to the district office by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 7.
