A Laredo man recently began his duties as a firefighter with the Trenton Fire Department.
Jason Meeker began his duties on Jan. 30. He is a native of Laredo and is a 2002 graduate of Trenton High School. Meeker has served as a volunteer firefighter for the past six or seven years, he said.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Meeker, he is married to the former Kimberly Clark.
