The after-school program at the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library will begin on Monday, Feb. 7.
Programs will be held each Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. for youth in grades five through eight. The program will be held on the third floor of the library, with volunteers and staff available to assist with homework. There will be an area for students to work quietly and all 10 library computers will be available for student use. Activities and snacks will also be provided on occasion, however, students are asked to bring their own after-school snack, if desired, unless notified otherwise.
Permission slips, signed by a parent or guardian, will be required before a child can attend. For more information or to obtain a permission slip, persons may come by or call the library at 359-3577.
