Eula McConnell, a 92-year-old Trenton resident died at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, where she had resided since April 16, 2004.

Eula McConnell, a 92-year-old Trenton resident died at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, where she had resided since April 16, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at the Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held from 7 to 8 o?clock tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005) at the mortuary.
Mrs. McConnell was born in Bradley, MS on Aug. 30, 1912, the daughter of John Henry and Fannie Sullivan McIntosh.
She was married to John C. McConnell on April 15, 1931 in Marion, AR. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1982.
The couple lived in Nebraska and Iowa before moving to Missouri in 1962, where he worked for the Rock Island Railroad.
Mrs. McConnell was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church of Trenton.
Mrs. McConnell is survived by four daughters, Mary Klenk and her husband, Ed, Pat McConnell, and Linda Mullins and her husband, Charles, all of Trenton, and Kay Aschbrenner and her husband, Ron of Little Rock, AR; a sister-in-law, Alice McConnell of Mesa, AZ; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; a son, Charles McConnell; a daughter, Bertha Weakland; and an infant son.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Tenth Street Baptist Church. These may be left at Resthaven Mortuary.
