Principal Ruth Ann Shipps said Scott Stephens of Chillicothe reviewed the 2003-2004 school audit with board members. Ms. Shipps said there were no problems listed in the audit.
A contract has been offered to an individual for a teacher’s aide position, however, the name of the individual will not be made public until the contract is signed and returned. Ms. Shipps said the hiring of the aide will allow the district to extend preschool from four days to five days a week.
The board approved a policy update and discussed procedures for the principal’s evaluation, which will be done in January. The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25.
