A second person has filed as a fourth ward candidate for the Trenton City Council, subject to the April 5 election.
Greg Lamp of 1604 E. Seventh St. filed for the position today at city hall. Carolyn Garcia has previously filed as a candidate for the fourth ward council position. Other candidates having filed for the council include Jackie Soptic and Kevin Klinginsmith in the first ward and Don Peyton in the third ward. The terms of Mrs. Soptic, Peyton, second ward councilman Steve Perry and fourth ward councilman Larry Crawford expire.
Persons wanting to run for the city council may file at city hall during regular business hours through Jan. 18.
