Two current members of the Trenton City Council have filed for re-election, subject to the April 5 election.
Jackie Soptic of 310 S. Main St. filed Tuesday morning for re-election as councilperson in the first ward while Don Peyton of 2931 Oklahoma Ave. has filed in the third ward. Both are two-year terms The terms of Steve Perry, second ward, and Larry Crawford, fourth ward, are also up for election in April.
Persons wanting to file for city council can do so at Trenton City Hall during regular hours until Tuesday, Jan. 18.
