Weldon L. Berry, a 65-year-old resident of Eastview Manor Care Center, died at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 at the care center, where he had resided since April 29, 2000.

Weldon L. Berry, a 65-year-old resident of Eastview Manor Care Center, died at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 at the care center, where he had resided since April 29, 2000.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 at the Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Rev. Barry Boulware will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2004 at the mortuary.
Mr. Berry was born on Nov. 22, 1938 at Galt, the son of Marion and Marjorie Allen Berry. He was a graduate of Galt High School. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1952 and was discharged in 1957.
Mr. Berry was retired from home construction and brokerage as well as insurance sales. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his former wife and companion, Carolyn Berry of the home in Trenton; three sons, Dan Berry of Lenexa, KS, Don Berry of Phoenix, AZ and David Berry of Paoina, CO; one brother, Charles Berry of Trenton; a sister LaVaughn Kincade of Sun City West, AZ; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
