Clinic Opens At Jamesport
Wright Memorial Hospital has announced the opening of its first outreach clinic, located in Jamesport.
The clinic is located at 301 Second St. in the former Doc?s Museum Building. The clinic has two exam rooms and will also provide lab services.
The clinic opened for business on Monday, Nov. 15, and four patients were seen during the day. The clinic will initially be open on Monday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with Jamesport physician Dr. Phil McClure scheduled to be in the office.
Carol Constant, a board certified family nurse practitioner, has been hired and will be joining the clinic staff on Tuesday and Wednesday in January 2005. At that time, the clinic will expand its hours to be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
?I?m extremely excited to be able to provide medical services to patients in the Jamesport area,? Dr. McClure said. ?I enjoyed working with the people in and around Jamesport in the past and am glad to be returning to work in Jamesport. With the addition of the new clinic, Wright Memorial Hospital has taken a great step towards providing needed primary medical services for our patients in Jamesport and Daviess County and also ensuring that should a hospitalization be required, our patients will be able to remain close to home.?
Patients being treated at the Jamesport clinic will have access to all of the services at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, including Lab, X-ray, CT and MRI scanning. The hospital?s transportation services will be available to provide transportation to the hospital for any of these services, should a non-emergency situation arise.
