Two Trenton residents will be among the performers at Saturday night’s 2005 Miss Trenton Area Scholarship Pageant.
Michelle Stewart and Whitney Jones will be dancing to tunes as part of the entertainment for the local pageant competition. Both girls are students of Superstars Dance Studio in Trenton, under the direction of Melissa Tongate.
Miss Stewart is scheduled to dance to “Broadway Baby” during the first half of the pageant. The daughter of John and Dawn Stewart, Michelle has danced with Superstars the past two years.
Miss Jones, a senior at Trenton High School, will be performing to the song “Ooh Wee” during the second half of the pageant. The daughter of Rob and Wendy Jones, Whitney has been dancing since she was child and has been dancing at Superstars the past two years.
The 2005 Miss Trenton Area Scholarship Pageant is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Trenton AMS Mall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Trenton Republican-Times office at a cost of $5, $7 and $10 and will also be available the night of the show.
The winner of the 2005 pageant will represent Trenton at the Miss Missouri Pageant next June in Mexico.
