Don Chrisman Norman, an 83-year-old resident of Springville, UT, died on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004 at Springville. He was a native of the Laredo area.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery in Springville.
Mr. Norman was born on Nov. 24, 1920 in Laredo, the son of Don Russell and Edna Chrisman Norman. He was married on June 5, 1940 to Jeanette Searcy, who survives of the home.
Mr. Norman worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 45 years, retiring in 1982. After his retirement, he was involved with Suntana Raceway for seven years and enjoyed the sport of racing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Richard Norman of Belton; two children, James Norman and his wife, Ann, of Provo, UT and Luetta Bush and her husband, Melvin, of Provo; a daughter-in-law, Colleen Norman of Sandy, UT; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four sisters-in-law, Evelyn McDaniel and Raymah Smith of Galt and Marian Searcy and Carolyn Ricket of Chillicothe; and a brother-in-law, Russell Searcy of Chillicothe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gary Russell; a grandson; two great-grandsons; two brothers; and three sisters.
