Grundy County voters who need to vote absentee in next Tuesday?s General Election will have the chance to do so on Saturday morning.

The Grundy County Clerk?s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday for those wishing to cast absentee ballots. So far, voters have applied for 426 absentee ballots, with 373 of those ballots having been cast as of this morning. The deadline to vote absentee in the November election is 5 p.m. Monday.

According to Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich, a total of 115 persons have registered to vote since the August Primary Election, bringing the total number of active registered voters in the county to 6,353. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
