Betty Jane Moore, a 76-year-old resident of Mercer, died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 at her home in Mercer.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 2004 at the Faith Christian Center, north of Princeton. Rev. Jim Exley will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, northwest of Princeton.
General visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004 at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service in Princeton, where a family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
Mrs. Moore was born on April 4, 1928 in Mercer county, the daughter of David Franklin and Mary Ellen Dillard Stark. She was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. She was married on Nov. 11, 1950 to Billy Dean Moore, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Patsy Ann Mastin of Marshalltown, IA and Oletha Jane Holloway and her fiance, Randy Nichols, of Clio, IA; two sons, Alva Dean Moore and his fiance, Pauline LaMotte, of Mercer and David Leroy Moore of Allerton, IA; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Ray, Roy, Albert, Frank, Jesse, Wayne and Dea Stark; three sisters, Edna Rockhold, Alta Overton and Genevieve Robb; three half-sisters, Elizabeth Ruth, Emma Martin and Flora Dykes; and one half-brother Archie Stark.
