The North Central Council of the International Reading Association will feature Anna Mack Martin of Trenton as their guest speaker at their meeting on Oct. 14 at Trenton Middle School.
Mrs. Martin is the author of the book, ?Life is Never a Bowl of Cherries.? She wrote the book as a teaching aide when she was working for the Peace Corp as a teacher in the Ukraine. At the local IRA meeting, she will share some of her experiences with the members.
The 6:30 p.m. meeting will include a dinner catered by Creations of Trenton Middle School under the direction of Dianne Pittman. The program, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., is open to the public. For further information, persons can contact Pam Johnston at 359-6349.
