According to Grundy County Clerk Kristi Urich, persons may come to her office, located on the second floor of the courthouse to register to vote. In addition, absentee voting is under way and the deadline to vote absentee is 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1. Persons not able to come to the courthouse may have an absentee ballot mailed to them, but the last day to request a ballot by mail is Oct. 27. The county clerk?s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 30 to allow persons to vote absentee.
