The Grundy County United Way kicks off its 2004-2005 fund-raising drive on Saturday with a pancake feed sponsored by Trenton Hy-Vee.

The Grundy County United Way kicks off its 2004-2005 fund-raising drive on Saturday with a pancake feed sponsored by Trenton Hy-Vee.
The public is invited to take part in the eat-what-you-want, pay-what-you-want event, which will be held in the Hy-Vee kitchen from 7 to 11 a.m.
In addition to the pancake feed, United Way will begin its residential canvass, which will continue throughout the month of October. Organizations will be conducting the canvass and money can be turned in to United Way representatives on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Hy-Vee deli. Money can also be turned in to Rosetta Marsh at Trenton City Hall throughout the month of October.
The goal for this year’s fund drive is $23,500.
