Margaret Crawford, an 89-year-old resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at the nursing home, where she had resided since June 1, 1999.

Margaret Crawford, an 89-year-old resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at the nursing home, where she had resided since June 1, 1999.

Graveside rites will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton. There is no scheduled family visitation at the mortuary.

Mrs. Crawford was born on July 26, 1915 at Moberly, the daughter of Leroy and Georgia Triplett Dearing. She moved to Kansas City with her family at age 10, living there until she married Vernon R. Crawford at Trenton on June 23, 1935. They lived all their married life in Trenton. He died on April 10, 1985.

Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by one daughter, Helen, now Mrs. George Ewing of Chillicothe; one son, Dwight Crawford and his wife, Vickie, of Des Moines, IA; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Howard and Dick Dearing; and one sister, Dorothy Consbrock.

The family has suggested memories to the American Cancer Society.
