NCMC Will Honor Seven At Alumni Baquet
Seven alumni of Trenton Junior College/North Central Missouri College will be recognized during the inaugural Alumni Banquet and Awards Celebration scheduled for Saturday night, Oct. 16 on the NCMC campus.
Scheduled to be honored during the ceremonies are Lloyd Ketcham of Lee?s Summit, a former automobile dealer and 1930 alum of TJC; Frank Hoffman of Trenton, a retired feed and grain businessman and 1937 TJC alum; and Larry D. Barnes of Trenton, a retired insurance company owner and a 1956 alum of TJC. Others include Chris Hoffman, a feed and grain manager from Trenton and 1978 alum; Phyllis Jackson Dible, president of PDQ Cleaning of Trenton and a 1968 alum; the late Betty Frances Hall, a 1951 alum and former health care administrator and educator; and Robert ?Bob? Gallup of Trenton, a retired concrete company owner and 1942 graduate of TJC.
Honoree accomplishments include voluntary roles by three college trustees, five college foundation board members and each with an ongoing commitment to promote community college recruitment and development. In addition, the Missouri Community College Association has recognized each as statewide Distinguished Alumni Award recipients.
“The October banquet is our way of thanking our wonderful volunteers who have played a major role in the development of North Central Missouri College and we are delighted to celebrate their commitment to our college,” NCMC Director of Development Steve Maxey said.
Reservations for the Oct. 16 gala are due in the Foundation Office by Oct. 8. the cost for the dinner, stage show and special presentations is $20 per person with all proceeds earmarked for the Endowed Scholarship Fund at NCMC.
