Several offices and businesses will be closed on Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Closed on Monday will be the Grundy County Courthouse, Trenton City Hall/Trenton Municipal Utilities, the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce/License Bureau, the Grundy County Family Support and Children’s Division, the Grundy County Health Department, the Grundy County Prosecuting Attorney’s office, the Green Hills Regional Planning Commission, the Grundy County Senior Center/RSVP office, the Green Hills Community Action Agency, the Grundy County Farm Services Agency, Grundy Electric Cooperative, Aquila, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Farmers State Bank, US Bank, Citizens Bank and Trust and the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library. Farmer’s Mutual Insurance will close at noon on Friday and will also be closed on Monday. There will be no classes in the Trenton R-9 School District a well as at North Central Missouri College.
The Trenton Post Office will not have rural or city delivery on that day. The lobby will be closed.
The Trenton Republican-Times office will be closed on Monday and no newspaper will be published on that day. Alumni information can be left in the lobby of the office on Monday.
New Hope Industries has also announced plans to be closed on Monday. Recycling pickups scheduled for that day will be done on Tuesday.
