Vivian Shults, an 82-year-old resident of Leisure Lake, died at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Vivian Shults, an 82-year-old resident of Leisure Lake, died at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004 at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

The body was cremated. No services are planned under the direction of the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home at Trenton.

Mrs. Shults was born on Jan. 12, 1922 at Ellston, IA, the daughter of Frank and Grace Clymer Baumann. She graduated from high school in Gillette, WY. She worked at Delco Radio in Kahomo, IN during the early years of World War II, then moved to Boise, ID. She worked in Boise and Elko, NV as a beautician before returning to Des Moines, IA. in 1961.

She was married on Oct. 8, 1966 at Des Moines to Richard ?Dick? Shults, who preceded her in death on June 10, 2000. They lived in Urbandale, IA until 1980, moving to Leisure Lake, west of Trenton.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews as well as friends in the Leisure Lake area.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
