Memorial graveside rites for Grace Dreisbach will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, 2004 at the Harris Cemetery in Harris under the direction of the Payne Funeral Home at Galt. The body was cremated.

Mrs. Dreisbach, a 92-year-old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, died at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, 2004. She was a former Harris resident.

Mrs. Dreisbach was born on Sept. 19, 1911 at Palmerton, PA, the daughter of Fred and Sally Latzer Kuehn. She was raised at Bowmans Town, PA and taught grade school at Bowmans Town School District for 10 years. She was married on Dec. 31, 1941 to Paul Dreisbach, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1985. The couple brought a farm near Breinigsville, PA, where they farmed until they moved to Harris in 1973. Mrs. Dreisbach also taught grade school at the Emmaus School District from 1960 until moving to Harris.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Pennsylvania and attended the Harris Christian Church until it closed. She was also a 4-H leader for many years in Pennsylvania and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Dreisbach is survived by two daughters, Jane, now Mrs. Glenn Heisey of Harris and Joanne Lichtenwalner of the state of North Carolina; a half-brother, Charley Kuehn of the state of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
