Robert Wayne Brill, an 82-year-old resident of Eagleville, died on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at a Trenton health care facility.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2004 at the Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Eagleville.
General visitation begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004 at the funeral home, where a family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Brill was born on Dec. 12, 1921 in Eagleville, the son of Adair Robert and Belle Hunsicker Brill. He was married on June 8, 1944 in Troy, KS to Betty Jean Hougas, who preceded him in death on July 24, 2000.
Mr. Brill was a farmer in the Eagleville area and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Otterbien United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post No. 56 at Eagleville.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie Gates, and her husband, Lowell, of Trenton; one son, Robert Brill of West Burlington, IA; two grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
