Carol M. Brennecke, a 67-year-old resident of Silex, died on Sunday, July 25, 2004. She was a former Trenton resident.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 28, 2004) at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home in South County (St. Louis). Burial was in the Big River Cemetery in Irondale.
Mrs. Brennecke is survived by her husband of 51 years, William E. “Bill” Brennecke of the home; two sons, Ronald W. Brennecke and his wife, Krista, of Buckner and Steven E. Brennecke and his wife, Johanna, of Wappapello; one daughter, Debra L. Hayes of Maryland Heights; eight grandchildren, Adam, Christopher, Kyle, Jimmy, Justin and Jessie Brennecke and Zachary and Caitlin Hayes; a brother- and sister-in-law, Allan and Dot Brennecke of St. Louis; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua; a son-in-law, Bill Hayes; and a sister, Janice Davey.
